I am the community manager and editor-in-chief for developer.force.com. I’ve previously worked as a community consultant, working with clients such as O’Reilly, BEA and Intel. My primary goal is to help businesses grow and maintain communities. Some believe that this going to be an important position tomorrow. I believe it’s important today.

Where
I live in Scotland, pretty much in the middle of nowhere. When not traveling, I work from my home office. This has advantages: good clean air, lovely scenery and a quieter life. It also has some disadvantages…lack of people. So I spend a lot of time in Edinburgh too these days.
